A Message from the Superintendent

I am looking forward to one of the BEST school years Coosa County Schools has ever had in regards to TEAMWORK! Teamwork is defined as the combined action of a group of people, especially when effective and efficient. As a TEAM, we will continue to seek positive and proactive ways of approaching and addressing situations that occur on a daily basis in each school. We will collaborate with other TEAMS to accomplish needs of the system. As always we will encourage the students, parents and community to join our various teams. WE NEED YOU! Our goal, first and foremost, is meeting the needs of the students socially, emotionally, behaviorally and academically. We are excited about having all classes on our main campus although we continue to offer dual enrollment options through Central Alabama Community College for students in grades 10th – 12th. Additionally, we have counseling services through Altapointe with an in house mental health counselor available Monday through Friday with a Day Camp resource for students with behavioral needs as well. Coosa County Schools is working hard to meet the needs of the whole child. As a TEAM, we can get much accomplished. I’m looking forward to working with you as a TEAM member.
